After breakfast at the hotel, follow the guide to Huanglong Scenic Area (96 km / approx. 2 hours). Huanglong is world-renowned for its “Four Wonders”: colorful pools, snow-capped mountains, canyons, and forests. Its majestic peaks, steep valleys, and rich flora and fauna blend into a breathtaking natural symphony.
In winter, Huanglong becomes a world of snow-draped forests, rime, and fir trees. The icy waters of the calcified pools shimmer against the snowy backdrop—elegant, serene, crystalline, yet full of quiet vitality.
After the tour, depending on your flight or train time, an Exclusive Car Guide will escort you to Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport / Huanglong Jiuzhai High-Speed Railway Station for your journey home.

The colorful calcified pools reflect mountains, rivers, and trees, forming a dreamlike scene. Huanglong Valley lies beneath Xuebaoding, the main peak of Minshan Mountain, covered in snow year-round. Alpine snowmelt and karst spring water merge here, and calcium carbonate accumulates and settles over time, forming the milky-yellow travertine slopes that resemble a colossal golden dragon descending from the snow mountains. Each calcified pool mirrors a dragon scale—giving birth to the name “Huanglong.”
