In addition to the supporting buildings with different functions such as
the north and south barbicans, city towers, watchtowers, and water
gates, which together form a complete and well – structured military defense system, there is also the base of an over – street pagoda built during the Yuan Dynasty inside Juyongguan, named “Yuntai”. Under the pagoda, there are exquisitely carved stone patterns such as the Ten Buddhas and scriptures in six different languages, which serve as important evidence for studying religious and cultural exchanges among ethnic groups during the Yuan Dynasty and are a fine
masterpiece of the existing Yuan Dynasty stone carving art. At noon, the Peninsula chef will serve you [Western cold dish cuisine] at the Half-Mountain Pavilion.
