From October to April, walking along National Highway G214, Rizhao Jinshan frequently appears, allowing you to pay homage to Meili Snow Mountain, Baima Snow Mountain, and Yulong Snow Mountain, witnessing all the miracles. The best season for stargazing is around December 13th during the Geminid meteor shower. Hutiao Gorge is a world-class classic hiking destination, Mingyong Glacier is near Kawagebo Peak, and Pudacuo offers snow-capped mountains and clear rivers, creating one scenic climax after another across northwestern Yunnan.

DAY 01: Lijiang Yulong – First Encounter with Yunnan
Event: Today’s Schedule
Upon arrival at Lijiang Airport, your dedicated car guide with a 7-seater luxury business vehicle and senior tour guide will pick you up. Proceed to a hotel at the foot of the snow-capped mountain (about 1.5 hours’ drive) and enjoy a warm Yak Hot Pot Feast for dinner. If arriving early, visit Baisha Ancient Town or Yu Lake Village to experience authentic Naxi culture.

Special Arrangement: Professional guided stargazing on Yulong Snow Peak with professional equipment.

Warm Reminders: Observation depends on weather, cloud cover, and lunar phase; around December 13th is the Geminid meteor shower; Lijiang altitude is 2,000–2,500 meters, so rest and acclimate on the first day.

Scenic Spot: Dukezong Ancient City – Free admission, open 24/7, laid out like an eight-petaled lotus, preserves Tibetan culture, and is a hub of the Ancient Tea Horse Road.

Catch sunrise at Sunlit Golden Mountains, then visit Mingyong Glacier, the largest and most accessible glacier of Meili Snow Mountain. Optional climb to Lotus Temple (2–3 hours) for the closest view of Kawagebo Peak.

Scenic Spot: Gadan Songzanlin Monastery – Open 07:30–17:30, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, also called the “Little Potala Palace.”

Film Output Standard: At least 40 negatives provided, 9 retouched photos, one set of Tibetan costume and makeup included.
